About Word Tiles

Word Tiles is a free crossword tile game for the browser on a 15×15 board. Make words from your seven letters, hit the bonus squares and use all seven tiles at once for a 50-point bingo. Play the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, or pass one device between two players. Big tiles, a live score preview, friendly hints and a 172,000-word dictionary. Your game saves automatically.

Play the computer

Easy is relaxed and beatable, Hard plays near-perfect moves. It thinks in the background, so nothing ever freezes.

Full rules

Blanks, swapping tiles, passing, the 50-point bingo and end-of-game penalties, checked against a full dictionary.

Easy on the eyes

Large tiles and buttons, a live score before you play, plain-English messages for bad words, and a zoom button on phones.

Pass and play

Two players on one phone or tablet. Each rack stays hidden until it's your turn.
