How it plays

Race five raider gangs through a red-rock canyon, the salt flats, a burning refinery and a broken interstate. Hit rivals nose-first to wreck them and get paid. Smash crates for homing rockets, mines, oil slicks and repairs. Drift or ride a slipstream to fill your nitro, then fly off the jumps.

Cars and upgrades

Win scrap, then buy and upgrade four cars: the all-round Rustbucket, the light Dune Hopper buggy, the spiked Bonecrusher tow truck and the Black Viper, the fastest car in the game. Each has engine, armour and nitro upgrades. Win the Wasteland Cup to finish the season.
