A free game like Death Rally, in your browser
Death Rally mixed racing, guns and a garage where winnings turned into upgrades. Scrap Fury has that loop, as a free 3D game in the browser.
The race, win, upgrade loop
Each race pays scrap. Spend it on four cars, from the balanced Rustbucket muscle car to the light Dune Hopper buggy, the spiked Bonecrusher tow truck and the Black Viper coupe. Then buy engine, armour and nitro upgrades and take on the Wasteland Cup against five raider gangs.
Combat on the track
Crates hold homing rockets, mines, oil slicks, repairs and full nitro tanks. Ramming works: hit nose-first and your rival takes the damage. Drift or ride a slipstream to fill the nitro.
Differences
Scrap Fury is a 3D game with jumps, and its four tracks are a canyon, salt flats, a burning refinery and a broken interstate. It is a race against five raider gangs, not an online multiplayer game.
